Cancellation/No Show Policy: The Firefly Salon will require a valid credit card number for all new clients in order to book/hold an appointment. Please call the salon 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel. If you do not give 24 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of your appointment. If you "no show" (i.e. do not come to your appointment), you will be charged for your entire appointment. Your credit card number will not be saved past your scheduled appointment time.
Cell Phones: Cell phones are great! We love them! If you need to talk on your phone, that's fine, just try to converse quietly. As you'll see, if you're new to The Firefly Salon, it is an intimate environment & sound travels easily.
Children: The Firefly Salon is not a child-friendly environment. There are lots of sharp shears, razors, and blades here, making it not a safe place for kids. We love your children; that's why we're asking that you keep them home if possible.
Food: Although The Firefly Salon does not advertise as such, it is a Vegan environment. Salon proprietor and stylist, Kay Gregory, is a long-time Vegan and animal lover. Out of respect, we ask our clients to leave all meat and dairy products out of the salon. Eat a vegan snack or have a coffee or tea with soymilk instead. Go crazy-try something different!
Fur: If you need to wear your fur coat out to get your hair done, The Firefly Salon is probably not the salon for you.
Tipping: Our stylists and our assistants work hard and do great work to ensure that your salon experience is exceptional. To show your appreciation, tipping your service provider is always welcome. We'll still give you an amazing service, tip or no tip, so do whatever feels
right. Please, only cash or checks made payable to your stylist.
